Search Engine Optimization Plan: 5. On-Page Optimization

1. Optimize Pages for Specific Keywords
Choose a page for each group of keywords. Usually scripts for creating websites work in a way that page rank is redistributed so that the major part goes to the homepage and less to the pages that 2-3 clicks away from the homepage. Thus, optimize your home page for high volume keywords, second level pages for middle search volume keywords and other pages with articles and descriptions for low volume keywords.

2. Optimize Content of Each Page
Create maximum relevant content for each page. For this purpose optimize titles, text, headers, alt image attributes and etc. for specific keywords.

3. Optimize Internal Links According to the Semantic Kernel of Your Website
The most important pages must have the highest page rank, so a greater number of internal pages should link to them. It will be "a sign" for search engine that this page is more valuable for website, and, therefore, it more valuable for users.

4. Create conditions to motivate users for targeted action on your website – registration, filling a form, uploading, buying a product and etc.
